Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally called Andra day, is an American R&B musician and singer. She has won the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are just a few of the many accolades she has received. The singer was also considered for nominations to an Academy Award. Andra Day, a talented musician and singer with a background in blues and gospel music who has a flair for the modern world is more than an R&B throwback master. The ability she has to mix her jazz influences with gospel, and blues into the R&B genre is impressive. Stand Up for Something, her 2017 contribution to Marshall's score for the film Marshall was awarded her the Academy Award as well as a Grammy. DJs started playing it on the radio. She then signed with Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz produced her first album, Cheers to celebrate the fall. The album featured the hit single Rise Up, which was a popular iconic song of social justice campaigns all over the world. Day's album was nominated two times for Grammys. The album was nominated as Best R&B Album. She came out with The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, A concept album about the life and work of jazz legend Billie Holiday. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biographical account of Holiday which was released in the in the same year. Andi matichak (born August 25, 1970) is an American actress. She started her career on TV series like Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her film debut was in the role of Allyson in the series of horror Halloween. Andi is an American actress born in Framingham on the 3rd day of May 1994.
