Mary Marg Helgenberger, born November 16, 1958 in the United States is a professional actress. In the 1980s she began her acting career and gained notoriety as Siobhan Ryan's character on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. The most well-known of her roles is her character of Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a TV series that ran from 2000 until 2013 and Immortality which was a film for television released in the year 2015. Vegas (present-day) can be described as the sequel to the first. Helgenberger is also known for his role as K.C. Koloski was a supporting actress in the ABC drama China Beach, which aired between 1988 and 1991. This earned her an Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting Actress for a Drama Series in the year 1990. In addition, she has appeared on the TV programs Under the Dome, Intelligence as well as the films Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) as well as Mr. Brooks (2007).
