Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat group consisting of actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is both an actress as well as an writer. In the early 80s, she made her debut on film by appearing in the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her debut success in a film she starred on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest films made by high school students of all time. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed 50 million dollars. Also, she began to appear on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. The show targeted teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other shows on which she has appeared. in Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. Also, she appears as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film with her part being only a short cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has been awarded numerous times, including her MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
